Candy Cane Mason Jar Luminaries
Recently, I’ve been stockpiling glass jars at home. With so many ideas for using them for Christmas decor and gifts this year – like Amanda’s snowy pinecone candle jars from last year or this glittery Santa’s belly jar from Amanda – these have been on my mind.

So far this year I’ve made an adorable Mason jar snowman as a Secret Santa gift idea, and then was inspired to use my glitter stash for something fun – I came up with an adorable candy cane Mason jar luminary which looks beautiful both lit or unlit, particularly when displayed together on a holiday mantel!

Hint: For those who would rather purchase instead of make, Etsy offers many Christmas luminary options!

2. Arrange alternate thick and thin strips of tape diagonally down the jar, leaving larger sections unprotected (to allow space for glitter).
